Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks-2-1024x767Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9th 1956) is an American actor and filmmaker. He is famous for his comedic and dramatic role. Hanks is an American cultural icon. Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born in Concord, California, to Janet Marylyn a hospital worker and Amos Mefford Hanks, an chef who traveled the world. The family of his mother, initially named "Fraga" was completely Portuguese and his father was of predominantly English heritage. Tom was raised in what he has called a "fractured" family. He did not have any performing experience at the time of his college. This is the reason that helped him start his career. He auditioned in the downtown area of Cleveland for the community theatre show. After that the audition, he was invited to Cleveland by the director. This is where his acting career began.
